| The local press and journalists are to be commended for the
extensive coverage that they have allocated to the events
surrounding the cancellation of Radio Free Silver! and the assault
on our rights of free speech, free press, and of the community to
hear the full range of opinion in the marketplace of ideas.
We thank them not only for the featured articles but for
publication of a significant number of letters to the editor and
editorial comment. We look forward to additional coverage as
these ongoing issues are addressed.
The attention of the press is not limited to our local outlets
and will continue and expand as this community begins to come to
grips with the implications of these anti-democratic actions by as
yet unidentified parties. In the meantime, here is a review
of the press coverage to date. This will continue to expand
and be updated as we go.
